My 12 Truths

There's a lot of things that are just suspicion in life, and a lot of things that are true. I personally have lived through 18 years of it, so I'm going to shed some light on it

1: The truth is almost never easy, nor simple. Lies, gossip, breakups, death. It's all a big massive headache. You think that you know it, but in reality, you're barely scraping the surface of it. I haven't truly grasped it, but I think I'm getting there.

2: Heavy metal is Gods way of apologizing for pop, rap and hip-hop.

3: It takes courage and strength to admit you're wrong. It may not be the easiest thing, hell, it may be right up there next to proposing. Just know that when you do, you'll get a helluva lot more respect than just holding it back and saying nothing.

4: You will learn from your mistakes. But just because you learn doesn't mean you'll remember everything about it, and it may very well happen again.

5: Learn to cook. I can tell you from experience that it is much better than McDonald's or Wawa, and much more rewarding. Plus you learn quite a bit about spices and herbs and much more.

6: Life is an asshole. It is profane, obnoxious, and downright awful. But once you hit rock bottom, what better foundation for the rest of your life than that. Make the most of the good times, 'cause life is always gonna come swinging.

7: Hitting things repeatedly usually gets them to work faster.

8: Vets and active military are people as well, and deserve the utmost respect for what they did.

9: Nifty Fifties is the best diner in the world.

10: Horseback riding is always fun, especially when you have the scenery of the mountains and grassy plains of the midwest.

11: Take a step back every once in a while, and just take it all in.

12: Ignite your life with the fire that you make. Don't hold back, burn that B***** to the ground!
